One woman and one pair of pants

22nd December 2014 | Alice Taylor

We’ve all got that one pair of super comfy pants that emulate Bridgette Jones or, if you like, Walter White. Lucy Hilmer’s photography series Birthday Suits, shows one pair of white pants across forty years of photographs.

Her natural stance and facial expression expresses something so warm and personal through these images.

Read the interview with Lucy on It’s Nice That.

Zbigniew Łagocki

6th October 2014 | Simone Aagaard

Just a few examples of the work of Polish Architect and photographer Zbigniew Łagocki.

He took photographs all his life, set up solo and group exhibitions and entered photografic contests. During the International Biennal Art Exhibition in Sao Paulo in Brasil Łagocki was awarded gold medal for the photographic series “Aerotica”. In 1968 he was an organizer, inviting Zbigniew Dłubak as his collaborator, of the famed exhibition of Polish Subjective Photography.

Nettie Harris by Renato Ramos Jr.

18th August 2014 | Alice Taylor

Having almost completed the printing of Issue One of The Quite Delightful Project, I admit to being mildly obsessed with the model Nettie Harris.

…she’s in Quite Frankly, both photographed by George Pitts and in a candid and revealing interview, and also features in a fine art photographic monograph of photography by Mikey McMichaels which will be launched at the same time.

Here’s Nettie looking entirely natural – just as she always does – – photographed by Renato Ramos Jr.

Dsquared2 Underwear | Steven Klein

18th June 2014 | Katherine Jane

It’s not so much that this blog is biased towards stunning fashion images of female models – well it is, but by default – it’s just that there are so few genuinely great arresting images of guys doing the rounds.

So, imagine my excitement, when I saw these images of models Travis Hanson & Rich Stinger for Dsquared2 Underwear’s 2014 campaign photographed by Steven Klein.
