Ludique

25th March 2015 | Alice Taylor

I’m really drawn to this strappy lingerie line, Ludique, created by Romanian designer Ruxandra Gheorge.

Ludique derives from Latin ‘ludus’ and embodies the duality of the feminine spirit.

Created and developed by Romanian designer Ruxandra Gheorghe, Ludique personifies the amphibious condition of the feminine spirit highlighting both seductive and confident nature and delicacy and grace which define femininity.

Fine and precious, as a second skin, the lingerie is created only with high-quality fabrics and trimmings integrating cutting-edge designs combined with elements from Romanian art and mythology. The lingerie pieces excel in graphic cuts, which reflect the brand identity, and integrate junctions of delicate and precious materials with daring elements creating a pleasing mixture of functional and erotic lingerie.

Ludique products are created and handcrafted in limited edition and convey the Underwear as Outerwear trend through a diverse range of lingerie items reflecting femininity, sensuality, spirituality, sophistication and boldness.’

One woman and one pair of pants

22nd December 2014 | Alice Taylor

We’ve all got that one pair of super comfy pants that emulate Bridgette Jones or, if you like, Walter White. Lucy Hilmer’s photography series Birthday Suits, shows one pair of white pants across forty years of photographs.

Her natural stance and facial expression expresses something so warm and personal through these images.

Coco de Mer A/W 2014

7th November 2014 | Alice Taylor

I really love this wet-look Coco de Mer Autumn Winter 2014 collection!

“Coco de Mer’s Autumn/Winter 14 debut latex collection features directional pieces and classic lingerie styles for both latex connoisseurs and aspiring collectors.

Designed and made in London, the exclusive designs celebrate a beautiful meeting of the female form and skin-tight, high shine latex tailoring to create strong, sleek silhouettes.

The Deco line takes inspiration from the Art Deco period, with a bold colour palette of striking pillar box reds, deep purples and black, combined with geometric shapes and contrasting graphic lines.

The Scallop designs take the collection in a distinctly soft and feminine direction, with rose pinks with a pearlescent sheen and contrasting scallop detailing offering a gentle introduction to the exciting world of latex.

Outrageously tight latex dresses, pencil skirts and matching longline bra and suspender sets are yours to slip into and shine on.”

Dsquared2 Underwear | Steven Klein

18th June 2014 | Katherine Jane

It’s not so much that this blog is biased towards stunning fashion images of female models – well it is, but by default – it’s just that there are so few genuinely great arresting images of guys doing the rounds.

So, imagine my excitement, when I saw these images of models Travis Hanson & Rich Stinger for Dsquared2 Underwear’s 2014 campaign photographed by Steven Klein.
