Love these charming line drawings by Jonathan Kroell.
Whilst these drawings are very minimalist, every line seems to give the subject character and a great sense of form.

Gonzalo Bénard is an artist, curator and published writer, who has produced a body of work ‘about spirituality, sociology, anthropology, philosophy and psychology’.
Gonzalo has photographed himself, models and dancers for a number of conceptual projects. I was particularly drawn to his sculptural, gritty black and white images showing fragments of the male body.
The whole series was collated and produced as a book called ‘NUDE‘ which you can buy here.
Visit his website Gonzalo Bénard and follow him on Twitter @GBenard
Provocative, surreal and instantly recognisable: the work of Guy Bourdin marks a high point in twentieth century fashion photography.
Some beautiful, natural shots of model Corrie Lejuwaan.
Unfortunately I’m not sure who the photographer is.

In Issue One: Quite Frankly we featured an extensive essay of photography by Ren Hang.
Here’s one that slipped through the net – I think it’s a lovely image.
Today I came across the work of Jan Saudek, a Czech art photographer and painter who has been image making for over sixty years. He has a distinctive painterly style to his work and covers a wide and sometimes controversial subject matter. His chronological portfolio of work can be seen here.
Some interesting Wiki information on Jan:
His early art photography is noted for its evocation of childhood. Later his works often portrayed the evolution from child to adult (re-photographing the same composition/pose, and with the same subjects, over many years). Religious motives or the ambiguity between man and woman have also been some of Jan Saudek’s recurring themes. His work was the subject of attempts at censorship in the West during the 1990s.
I have found these images from various sources on Tumblr.
Here’s some stunning shots by Marc Lagrange as requested by our good friend @barriethomson on Tuesday’s Twitter conversation.

Following the little Twitter conversation on Tuesday evening, we’re added some blog posts to highlight the photographers that our followers admire most as erotic photographers.
The Quite Delightful blog has quite an affection for Nobuyoshi Araki. This is one of Dee Elegia‘s favourite erotic photographers. Dee tweeted the first image on the right, and we’ve added some more striking examples below.
“@QuiteBriefly Araki. One of the few who has mastered all mediums. Plus, the best artists are always cat people.” – @iamelegia
Another lovely set of photos by LA based photographer, Darren Ankenman. I love the colours of her hair and eyes.

Some beautiful erotic images by Carlo Mollino (1905 – 1973) who was an Italian architect and designer. He designed architecture, furniture and furnishings, race cars and took fantastic Polaroids of female nudes.

A cute image – no credit unfortunately.
Beautiful series of black & whites from Russian Photographer Oleg Andreev.
Just a few examples of the work of Polish Architect and photographer Zbigniew Łagocki.
He took photographs all his life, set up solo and group exhibitions and entered photografic contests. During the International Biennal Art Exhibition in Sao Paulo in Brasil Łagocki was awarded gold medal for the photographic series “Aerotica”. In 1968 he was an organizer, inviting Zbigniew Dłubak as his collaborator, of the famed exhibition of Polish Subjective Photography.
I blogged this image quite a while ago on my Tumblr that I keeping ticking over full of erotic images that I like. I just went back through and found this one which I quite like (I’m sure some won’t due to the veins) but the pose and skin colour is lovely.

Sometimes even cheesy paintings can arrest one’s attention for a moment.
…as this one did.

It’s on to the studio again, when I too could frolicking naked in a field with my camera.
As the days grow cooler, opportunities reduce and, maybe, I should…
You can see more images of Abbey Lee Kershaw al fresco across at The Quiet Front
Getting ready for the day and so wishing I was heading for the beach today.

Lovely photograph by Caroline Mackintosh (I must check some more of her work).

I tore this photograph from a magazine maybe two or three years ago because I liked it so much. I never kept a note of who the photographer was.
Finally, I encounter again – it’s Mark Borthwick – and I am happy to share it with you here.
Isn’t it cute?

There’s always something so beguiling about Julian Opie’s simple lifework and use of flat colour.
Too easy to like, but is that a bad thing.

Having almost completed the printing of Issue One of The Quite Delightful Project, I admit to being mildly obsessed with the model Nettie Harris.
…she’s in Quite Frankly, both photographed by George Pitts and in a candid and revealing interview, and also features in a fine art photographic monograph of photography by Mikey McMichaels which will be launched at the same time.
Here’s Nettie looking entirely natural – just as she always does – – photographed by Renato Ramos Jr.
