Slow Motion Clouds

8th September 2015 | Alice Taylor

I’m so in love with the work of Carlos JGM who creates beautiful, nostalgic photographs with his old film camera.

He’s just returned from his travels and uploaded some photographs which make me want to go back on holiday! I especially love the skinny dipping ones!

You may be seeing more of Carlos’ work soon… hint hint.

Gonzalo Bénard

Gonzalo Bénard is an artist, curator and published writer, who has produced a body of work ‘about spirituality, sociology, anthropology, philosophy and psychology’.

Gonzalo has photographed himself, models and dancers for a number of conceptual projects. I was particularly drawn to his sculptural, gritty black and white images showing fragments of the male body.

The whole series was collated and produced as a book called ‘NUDE‘ which you can buy here.

Visit his website Gonzalo Bénard and follow him on Twitter @GBenard

Nadav Kander

I’ve loved this image for quite some time. I didn’t know until now (due to the lack of image crediting on the internet these days) that it’s by photographer Nadav Kander from his collection Human Bodies (2006) which you must check out here.

Nadav Kander has been praised by Si Scott in an interview in Issue One, Quite Frankly, and he’s also featured on The English Group blog here and here.
