Canon will soon be bringing tiny new digital camera to the market – the Powershot N. Measuring just 3.1 x 2.4 x 1.2 inches, the 12.1 megapixel camera features a 90º flip-out touchscreen display on the back in replacement of the regular buttons and has Wi-Fi connectivity, allowing you to instantly share your photos online without having to connect to your laptop first.

There is also a new ECO mode that Canon will be adding to all Powershot models going forward, meaning you can save an additional 30% of your battery consumption. The Powershot N is set for release in April and will retail for $300 (approx. £190).

Canon has presented their newest compact camera at the 2013 CES in Las Vegas – the ‘Powershot N’.

Expressed as ‘the ultimate storytelling tool’, it features ‘Creative Shot’, a new imaging mode that analyzes an image and automatically creates a series
artistic photos of the original with varying compositions, lighting and color.

Equipped with enhanced wireless capabilities that connect the point and shoot to a variety of mobile devices instantly, so users can upload and comment on their images in real-time while on-the-go using wi-fi connectivity.

Its 12.1-megapixel high sensitivity CMOS sensor and DIGIC 5 image processor provides crisp photographic results with 1080p full HD video capture in a compact body format, while in addition, a 2.8-inch tilt-touch panel LCD, allows users to capture images at unique angles.
