To complement my previous post, here’s a few images that certainly have the ability to arrest one’s attention.

The first image is by Japanese photographer Nobuyoshi Araki.

The second is by Daniel Bauer.

I’ve no idea who the photographer of the third image is – it’s one of those artefacts that one bumps into when succumbing to the distractions of Tumblr – but I could pretend to be all art history and academic and state that it’s evocative of Gustav Courbet’s ‘The Origin Of The World’.
