Camera manufacturers Leica have teamed up with the Gagosian gallery to create a unique version of the Leica X2, which was originally released late last year. Produced in a limited edition run of just 100, the Leica x Gagosian X2 features black paint splotches and dots covering the white leather front panel and the usual 2.7″ LCD screen and controls on the back. Inside, the camera is the same as the original release with a 16.5 megapixel CMOS image sensor. It also comes complete with a 24mm f/2.8 ASPH lens. The Leica x Gagosian X2 is available to pre-order from the Gagosian’s online store for $3,000 USD (approx. £1860). It will be shipped in January 2014.
