Scandinavia

14th December 2013 | Alice Taylor

In the old Scandinavian folklore midsummers night was one of the holy nights. The power of nature was extra strong and the borders between the human and supernatural was thinner then usual. According to tradition one is supposed to walk through seven fields and in silence pick seven flowers. These shall be put under one’s pillow during the midsummers night and you will dream about your future spouse.

For this 8th issue of Scandinavia S/S/A/W they have shot seven girls as the seven flowers.
